Download Deploy Utility using Management Console

After installing the Deploy utility included in the product package, perform the following steps to download the utility using the Management Console. This is optional.

  1. Select the second icon on the left primary bar >Data Services > Data Integration Server. The Data Integration Servers window appears.
  2. Select Connection > SAP Central Finance (cFIN) > Edit.
  3. (Optional) Enter the cFIN connection details in the self-explanatory fields.
  4. (Optional) Import a staging template, establish a staging area, and enter the connection details.
  5. Navigate to the SAP S/4HANA option present in the left primary bar.
  6. In the Deploy Virtual Database Objects for SAP S/4HANA window, select either Transaction, Master Data, or both from the Transaction/Master Data dropdown. The default selection is Transaction.
  7. From the Platform dropdown, download scripts specific to either Linux or Windows. Windows users receive a .zip file, while Linux users receive a .tar.gz file. The default platform is Windows.
  8. (Optional) If a staging area exists, it is selected by default. If multiple staging areas exist, a dropdown menu appears for user selection.
  9. (Optional) From the Data Integration Server dropdown, select the created DI server.
  10. (Optional) In the Remote Source field, decide whether to enter this detail.
  11. Select all or required objects and select the Download button.
  12. If any of the details such as DI Server, Staging Area, or Remote Source are missing, then user confirmation is required (via an alert dialog) before the utility can be downloaded.
  13. The corresponding utility is then downloaded.

Note: If you do not provide or select any of the connection details in the user interface, those fields will remain blank in the downloaded config.xml file of the utility.
