Lineos Prerequisites

Lineos, insightsoftware’s AI assistant, provides the following services within SourceConnect Management Console:

• Column Mapping Assistance: When using a Universal Connector (UC) instance, Lineos helps map source columns from a CSV file to the appropriate target columns in the template.
• AI-Powered Exception Reporting: Lineos categorizes errors, provides rule-based resolution steps for each data layer (Source, ETL, Stage), and recommends relevant reconciliation reports with justification.
• In-Product Documentation Assistance: Lineos provides real-time answers to product-related questions using official documentation and support knowledge base articles.

To enable Lineos features, you must configure the Lineos API key in Management Console.

To request your API key, submit a support ticket at https://help.insightsoftware.com/. Please note that this API key is only required to access features powered by Lineos, you can implement other Management Console functionalities without it.

Once you receive the key, follow these steps to configure the API key in Management Console:

1. Click your user profile name at the bottom-left corner of the application.
2. Select Administration.

   

3. Select Manage Lineos API Key.

   Note: Only admin users can access this configuration.

4. Enter the API key in the provided field.
5. Click Save. A confirmation message appears upon successful configuration.
