System Requirements

This section lists the hardware and software required for installing and using SAP Central Finance Master Data Replication by insightsoftware for SAP S/4HANA9.0.

Important: Ensure that you have the latest service packs and updates for Master Data Replication9.0 and related products.

      • The extended attributes for SAP S/4HANA 2022 must be as shown in the following screenshot.

  • Client tool: One of the following client tools, or a client tool that is compatible with the databases in your environment:
    • Oracle Client 12.1.0.2 or 11.2.0.4
    • SQL Server 2014 Service Pack 3
    • Interactive SQL 16.0.0
  • Software framework: .NET Framework 4.8
  • Operating system: Windows 10, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, or Windows Server 2012 R2
  • Microsoft Excel 2016 or 2013 (required only if you are using the data editor functionality or to open Excel files)
  • Staging database: One of the following databases for staging tables:
    • SQL Server 2019, SQL Server 2018, SQL Server 2014 R2, or SQL Server 2012 R2
    • SAP HANA 2.x or 1.x
  • ETL tool: One of the following ETL tools:
    • SAP Data Services 4.3 with SAP Information Platform Services 4.3
    • SAP Data Services 4.2 SP14 (on Windows Server 2016 or Windows Server 2012 R2) with SAP Information Platform Services 4.2 SP8
    • SAP Data Services 4.2 SP13 (on Windows Server 2016 or Windows Server 2012 R2) with SAP Information Platform Services 4.2 SP7

    Note: While you can download Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL from their official websites, the steps to install and configure the software are provided in the installation guide.

  • Internet Information Services (IIS) 10.0 or 8.5. Ensure that Web Deploy is enabled.
  • (Only 64-bit) Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 9.0.4 or 8. Ensure that,
    • JAVA_HOME environment variable is configured.
    • Master Data Replication and SchClient.jar are of the same version.

    Note: JRE is also required on the computer on which SchClient.jar is installed to run the .jar commands.

  • Web browser: One of the following web browsers:
    • Google Chrome 95.0.4638.69 (64-bit) or later
    • Mozilla Firefox 94.0.1 (64-bit) or later

insightsoftware certifies that SAP Central Finance Master Data Replication by insightsoftware for SAP S/4HANA9.0 is compatible with SAP Central Finance Transaction Replication by insightsoftware 9.0.
