What's New

The enhancements in SAP Central Finance Transaction Replication by insightsoftware for SAP S/4HANA9.0 are as follows.

Enhanced Direct Integration with Oracle NetSuite 2025

Transaction Replication and SourceConnect Management Console are now compatible with the latest version of Oracle NetSuite.

Refer to the PAM for more details.

Dynamic Cache Generation

Transaction replication jobs under unified data pipeline now automatically integrate cache generation directly into the replication workflow. When master lookup mappings are updated in the Management Console, the cache refreshes automatically during the next replication job execution—no separate cache generation step required. The system intelligently skips cache regeneration when no lookup changes have occurred, enabling faster job processing. This enhancement applies across Journal, AVL, and Reprocess levels, streamlining operations by reducing manual intervention while ensuring the cache remains consistently current. The simplified single-step process improves data integrity and minimizes the risk of inconsistencies caused by outdated cache information.

For more details, including job updates and required global variables, see Appendix B in the Administrator Guide.

Level Zero Reconciliation Report

The new Level 0 reconciliation reports directly compare financial data from source non-SAP ERP systems with SAP Central Finance (CFIN) data. This capability extends beyond previous staging layer comparisons to provide business-focused reconciliation of original source documents against final CFIN results.

Key benefits include end-to-end data validation for document counts and amounts, improved accuracy with ERP-specific data format handling, smart document grouping that maintains original relationships when documents are split, faster issue identification and resolution, and enhanced audit support with full traceability from source to CFIN.

For detailed information, see the Comparison Reports for Third-Party Systems Guide.

Improved Data Loading for Reconciliation

This release introduces a streamlined data loading process that simplifies your reconciliation workflows: A unified job now handles both incremental and one-time data loads to staging tables across HANA and Microsoft SQL Server environments. It also loads AIF errors to staging tables and displays it in the Exception Report for easy troubleshooting.

For more details, including job updates and required global variables, see Appendix B in the Administrator Guide.

Management Console Support for Drilldown Reports

Version 9.0 integrates drilldown reporting directly into the Management Console, enabling seamless access to detailed source data insights. You can retrieve comprehensive source-level information for journal entries on-demand without running a job, alongside Excel export functionality. Extended drilldown support is also available in Level 5 Summary and Detail Reconciliation reports through a new dedicated column - streamlining your migration analysis and troubleshooting processes.

For more information, see View Drilldown Details and Use Reconciliation Dashboard and Reports in the Management Console Guide.

AI-Powered Exception Report for Enhanced Root Cause Analysis in Management Console

With this release, we have enhanced the existing Exceptions Report in Reconciliation Reports with AI-powered capabilities that accelerate issue resolution and provide intelligent guidance. The updated report now features automatic error categorization based on exception descriptions, rule-based recommendations with targeted resolution steps for Source, ETL, and Stage locations, and smart report suggestions that reference relevant Reconciliation Reports as part of root cause analysis.

Refer to Use Reconciliation Dashboard and Reports in the Management Console Guide for detailed information.

SAP S/4HANA 2025 Compatibility

Transaction Replication is now compatible with SAP S/4HANA 2025. Organizations upgrading to the latest S/4HANA release can continue leveraging pre-built connectors for seamless integration of financial transactions from third-party ERP systems into their Central Finance landscape. This compatibility ensures uninterrupted data replication, reconciliation reporting, drilldown, and syncback capabilities on the newest SAP platform.
