Configure SourceConnect Management Console Users
This chapter provides information about configuring the SourceConnect Management Console user roles for performing various tasks.
User Credentials
Use the following credentials to sign in to the management console:
- Username: admin@insightsoftware.com
- Password: Use the password you have reset.
Configure Users
You can use the user authentication and authorization feature to create different user profiles and manage user access.
User Roles
The three different user roles are as follows:
- Administrator: Has access to all the features, including the audit trail feature and account settings.
- Power-User: Has access to all the features.
- Viewer: Has view-only access to limited features.
Administrator
As an administrator, you can perform the following actions:

Create User: Navigate to the bottom left Administrator icon > Administration > Manage Users page and select the Create Users button to create a new user.

Edit User: Select Actions > Edit to change the role of the existing user and password as well, if required.
- Delete User: Use this option to delete a user. Select Yes when the confirmation dialog box is displayed.
Power-User
As a power-user, you can access all the features, however, you cannot manage the account settings.
Viewer
As a viewer, you have read-only view to the management console features.
