Use Reconciliation Dashboard and Reports
This topic outlines the process of using the reconciliation dashboard and accessing the reconciliation reports within the SourceConnect Management Console. The dashboard and reports analyze data fetched from the staging area.
Reconciliation Dashboard
- To access the reconciliation dashboard, select the third icon in the navigation pane and then select Dashboards. If there are multiple staging areas, select the appropriate one from the drop-down menu. If there is only one staging area, the application will use it by default.
The dashboard includes five types of charts:
- Processing Status - Transaction count categorized by each processing status level.
- Source System Transaction Replication Status - AIF status of all transactions sent to CFIN, organized by source system.
- Document Count Variance - Source System - Document count differences between the ISW Staging database (StageONE) and CFIN, organized by source system.
- Replication Aging - Duration (in days) a transaction remains stuck in the replication process to CFIN.
- Exception Summary - Overview of documents that cannot be posted into SAP S/4HANA due to exceptions.
- To apply filters:
- Individual charts - Select the filter icon directly in the individual cards.
- Global filters - Select the gear icon > Filters to apply filters across all charts.
Available filters include:
- Source System
- Company Code
- Source Doc. Posted Date - Start
- Source Doc. Posted Date - End
- Source Fiscal Year
- Source Fiscal Period
- Age Range (applicable only for the Replication Aging chart)
- Individual charts - Select the filter icon directly in the individual cards.
- Click Apply or save filters for later use in the Global Filters panel.
- To view the list of jobs in the data source associated with the reconciliation, select the gear icon > Recon Job Summary.
- To view a detailed version of any chart, click the expand icon on that card. Filters can also be applied from the expanded view.
- To customize the pivot table display that provides data based on the chart, click the Field Chooser icon. Select the necessary fields, drag and drop columns into the Row Fields and Columns Fields sections to create your preferred view, and click OK.
- To export the pivot grid data, select the Export icon at the top-right of the grid. The current pivot grid view downloads as an Excel file.
Important: Before exporting, expand all relevant row and column headers. If any hierarchy levels remain collapsed, the export will concatenate unexpanded headers into single cells, making the data difficult to read and analyze. For best results, remove any unused header fields before exporting.
Reconciliation Reports
- To access the reconciliation reports, select the icon in the navigation pane and then select Reports. This section displays the available transaction reconciliation reports.
Note: If you have an existing master data source in the application, the Master Data tab shows master data reconciliation reports. For more information, see SAP Central Finance Master Data Replication by insightsoftware Installer and Management Console Guide.
- Select the report you want to view.
- If there are multiple staging areas, select the appropriate one from the drop-down menu. If there is only one staging area, the application will use it by default.
- Use the filter icon on the top-right corner of the screen to apply desired filters and click Apply. Available filters include:
- Source System
- Company Code
- Source Doc. Posted Date - Start
- Source Doc. Posted Date - End
- Source Fiscal Year
- Source Fiscal Period
- Age Range
- To customize the display, click the Field Chooser icon. Select the required fields, then drag and drop columns into the Row Fields and Columns Fields sections to create your desired view. Click OK to review the updated report.
- To view drilldown details for any record in the Level 5 Summary and Level 5 Detail reports:
- Add the CFIN: Document Number and Logical System columns to the row fields panel using the Field Chooser option.
- Expand the row you want to view in detail.
- Scroll right and select the View Details option for that row to display the drilldown.
- Review all the tabs for complete information. For more details, see View Drilldown Details.
- Click Save to save the report.
- To copy an existing report, select the ellipses on the report card and select Copy. Enter a name and description for the new report and select Create.
- To delete a copied report, select the ellipses on the report card and select Delete. Select Delete in the subsequent confirmation prompt.
Note: You can configure the timeout value for all reports in the appsettings file. If you encounter execution timeout issues when processing large datasets, increase the timeout value using the ReportQueryTimeoutSeconds property in appsettings.
