Use AI-Powered Exception Reporting
The AI-powered exception report, powered by Lineos, helps you troubleshoot transaction errors by providing root cause analysis and recommended resolution steps. Use this feature to resolve errors that occur during the data load process from source to Central Finance.

Understand Error Categories
The report displays errors with assigned categories based on error descriptions and locations:
- Mapping - Issues with data mapping configurations
- Transformation - Problems during data transformation
- Duplicate - Duplicate record errors
- AIF Error - Errors from Central Finance or target system
- SLT Failure - SLT replication failures
- Business Rule - Business rule violations (for example, unbalanced journal amounts)
- Validation - Data validation failures
Error locations indicate where the error occurred:
- Source - Error at the source system
- Stage 1 or Stage 2 - Error during staging
- CFin - Error at the Central Finance system
Generate AI-powered Root Cause Analysis
Use AI to analyze specific errors and get actionable resolution steps.
To generate root cause analysis:
- In the exceptions report, locate the error you want to analyze.
- In the Error Description column, select the Generate RCA Insights icon.
- The system sends the error description and location to the AI service and displays the following details in the Root Cause Analysis window:
- Root Cause - Analysis of why the error occurred

Resolution Steps - Three-level guidance:
- Source-level actions
- ETL-level actions
- Stage-level actions
- Recommended Reports - Links to relevant reports for further investigation
Note: If no action is needed at a specific level, the AI indicates this.
- Hover over a recommended report to see why the AI suggested it.
- Select a recommended report link to open that report.
Export Exception Data
You can export exception data to Excel or CSV format for further analysis or reporting.
To export the data grid:
- (Optional) To export specific rows, select the checkboxes next to the rows you want to export.
- Select the Export icon.
- Select one of the following options:
- Export all data to Excel - Exports all exception records to Excel format.
- Export selected rows to Excel - Exports only the rows you selected to Excel format.
- Export all data to CSV - Exports all exception records to CSV format.
- Export selected rows to CSV - Exports only the rows you selected to CSV format.
